Education
MFA, Georgia Southern University, Betty Foy Sanders Dept. of Art, Statesboro, Georgia
Thesis Exhibition: Intimate Summation - Interpreted through Platonic binary theory and application of Renaissance technique, the work invites observation of life's milestones through a transformative lens to see beyond the grotesque to find life and beauty in the resulting aesthetic images.
Thesis: The Anatomy of Disgust and the Sublime in Metamodern Painting. The artist's works are compared to past and
contemporary treatments of vanitas from first-century Veracruz culture to the works of Rembrandt, Jan Fyt, Théodore
