Selected for the 2016 Spring National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) INTERNATIONAL ON-LINE Exhibition, my work was one of 150 selected from 700 entries. In this painting, The President's Own United States Marine Band waits to commemorate the 161st birthday of John Philip Sousa on Nov. 6, 2015, at his tomb at Historic Congressional Cemetery on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., with marches from his songbook, "The Stars and Stripes Forever" and "The Washington Post."
